If you’re planning of continuing your education then there are many options available to. An increasing number of young people are applying for undergraduate courses at university upon completion of their A levels, however these places at university are open to anybody who meets the requirements for a place on a particular courses, not just people who have recently passed their A levels. There are also many more mature students enrolling on undergraduate degrees too, especially people who missed out on the opportunity to go to university earlier on in their lives.

However, if you’re planning on furthering their education then there are many more routes open to you than just university. For example there are plenty of vocational qualifications that you can study towards. Many of these vocational courses are funded by the government who may be able to help you pay your way through your education. Many of the vocational courses currently funded by the government such as NVQs will require the student to engage in work placements so they are able to develop practical skills that will eventually be useful to them when they pursue their chosen career.

However, not all education courses currently available for study are necessarily useful for furthering your career or education. Many people enrol on courses simply to learn about a subject their interested in or develop a skill or talent simply for their own amusement.
